2. About FAO

The Federation of Awarding Organisations (“FAO”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent support and coordination organisation headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

FAO’s status: FAO is not an awarding body, examination board, regulator or training provider. FAO does not award qualifications or issue certificates unless expressly stated otherwise. The UK awarding body partners within the FAO network are independent organisations that hold their own regulatory recognition from Ofqual and equivalent bodies. FAO acts as a coordination and gateway body, not a qualification issuing authority.

Nothing on this Website should be read as implying that FAO holds regulatory recognition, accreditation authority or the power to issue regulated qualifications on its own account.
